Commercial and corporate law

Commercial law is a branch of private law that regulates the relations pertaining to the production and exchange of wealth.

More specifically, it regulates the legal relationships and contracts concluded between economic operators, as well as the deeds and activities of companies.

Italian commercial law deals with the following matters: the commercial entrepreneur, the company, society in general, partnerships, joint-stock companies, companies with listed shares and appealing to widespread savings, bankruptcy and other insolvency procedures, credit titles, commercial contracts.

Company law, on the other hand, regulates the formation, management and dissolution of companies, cooperatives, consortia, entities created by the will of natural and / or legal persons. The purpose of company law is to achieve the shared goal between the shareholders and to create a common corporate heritage.
